A few more firsts for little Wallace

Wallace wore his equafleece for the first time today and took to it with no bother, he also played with a treat ball and after being a little unsure initially was soon pouncing on it and bashing it round providing him with lunch.
Another trip to the vets today too, just for a social and a trip round Strensall common from the comfort of inside his dad's fleece.Started work on Wallace's control at mealtimes had him sitting waiting for a bowl and he cottoned on quick.
Also had another short clicker session, getting hi m to target a mat and very pleased with the results, he really responded well to the clicker today for the first time, showing me he really knew what the click meant and offering lots of trips back to the mat, he was also offering spins, which i had done some brief work with the other day.
All in all not bad for 9 weeks old me thinks.
He also seemed a little more at home wearing a collar and lead today, lots of putting it on and taking it off and laps round the living room coming up in the next few days.
He also seems more loving and responsive towards both myself and Cath and she has really fallen for his charms hook line and sinker.

Wallace's ongoing socialisation ramblings

Wallace had a number of new experiences whilst with us today, he saw traffic on a busy road, someone cycling round him in our garden, a small child pushing a dolls pram, wooden decking to walk on, listened to some one playing an organ and a piano made friends with some geese and listend to some scary sounds on his very own cd.
And as he is such a brave boy, he's having chicken wings for tea.

I love the way he and Alfie are playing with each other, fighting over a toy, charging round exchanging play bows, I knew Alfie would appreciate his youthful energy.
Alfie aint keenhowever on Wallace swinging off his tail and told him so in no uncertain terms this morning.
I think these two will become very firm friends.
He has taken to eating stones(norty wallace) and has taken a liking to a thyme plant in the garden, shouting like mad for his tea now so as soon as he quiets down then I'll feed him.
he also spent time on his own again in the van this morning which he was not bothered about in the slightest.
Wallace woke me at two thirty AM for the loo, then went straight back to sleep and slept until six.

Wallace weighed in at 5.6 kg's on 26th January 2011

Good boy Wallace

The good news Wallace asked to go to the loo after his tea by going to the backdoor and crying, the bad news is he pooped under the caravan, a tad difficult to pick up
Wallace has had a busy day, he slept till 4:30 Am and only woke when i went in to check on him.
he has played ball, played in the garden, been through a tunnel, seen an umberella opening, seen a flourescent workmans jacket had a brief clicker training session wher he targetted a mat which went ok although he took a little while to catch on. he also started his recall training to the whistle.
